Perthshire North MSP, Mr John Swinney, has today urged business owners within his constituency to make use of PrepareForBrexit.scot – a website that features a Brexit self-assessment tool to help businesses identify how they may be affected by Brexit and what they can do to prepare.
Commenting, Mr Swinney said:
“With continued uncertainty around Brexit and 29th March just around the corner, it is more important than ever that we do all we can to enable businesses to prepare for a variety of potential scenarios.
“PrepareForBrexit.scot is a crucial tool for businesses. It highlights the risks and challenges of the new economic landscape and specifies areas that a business will need to plan for, providing tailored recommendations and suggested events, services and support available. The website is also home to a 15-point checklist, news, articles, access to experts and event listings.
“Every business - even those that do not export to, or import from, the EU - will be affected by Brexit, and they need to pick up information as quickly as they can. The Scottish Government will continue to do all it can to support businesses during this time of uncertainty, and I would urge all business owners across Perthshire to use this excellent resource.”
